Just a friendly reminder that Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 8, 2026!

Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night so you’re ready for Sunday morning.

We may lose an hour of sleep, but we gain more beautiful evening daylight!

We’ll see you at our Sunday Morning Service at 10AM — bright and on time!

2026 PASSION WEEK

Palm March 29, 10am; Good Friday April 03, 6pm and Easter Sunday April 05, 10am.

Passion Week is a time when Christians around the world observe and celebrate the final week of Jesus Christ’s earthly ministry, beginning with Palm Sunday, and culminating in His resurrection on Easter Sunday.

It includes significant events like the Last Supper, Jesus’ betrayal, crucifixion, and burial, marking His ultimate sacrifice for humanity’s salvation and fulfilling God’s redemptive plan.

SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE

Join us Sundays at 10 AM as we continue our series with Pastor George on Jesus’ greatest message ever preached—The Sermon on the Mount: “God’s People in God’s Kingdom.”

When you look at the entirety of Jesus’s sermon, found in the Gospel of Matthew chapters 5,6, and 7, you see that it’s a message of true fulfillment, true blessedness, and of absolute, intense, and lasting joy. It’s Jesus giving us a complete view of how to build our lives as Christians.

We will hear Jesus speak to every aspect of life: your relationship with God, your relationship with others, the world, the devil, prayer, service, marriage, family, obedience, friends, enemies, treasures, anxieties, your thought life, ethics, morality, faith, and much more.

Join us at 9:30 AM for our Pre-Service Prayer and at 10 AM for our Worship and Teaching Service.

TUESDAY AM MEN’S BIBLE STUDY

GRCC Men, join us Tuesdays at 9 AM as we continue our study on the book of Jeremiah with Pastor Wade.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY

GRCC Church Family, join us on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM as we continue our midweek Bible study through the book of Philippians, titled “The Power in Choosing Joy,” with Pastor Don.

Written from a Roman prison, Paul’s letter overflows with joy—mentioning “joy” or “rejoicing” 16 times—despite hardship, chains, uncertainty, and under threat of death. Separated from churches he loved, this “letter of joy” was not born from comfort, but from a life anchored in Christ.

We invite you all to join us – verse by verse through this beautiful letter – as we seize upon the great supernatural treasure Paul found in a simple choice: The Power in CHOOSING Joy!

Women’s Ministry

GRCC Ladies, join us for our Winter/Spring Bible Study video series, Live Free, with Elizabeth Woodson, beginning Thursday, February 5. We will meet on Thursdays in person at GRCC at 9:30 a.m. or online via Zoom at 6:30 p.m.

FRIDAY NIGHT MEN’S BIBLE STUDY

GRCC Men, join us Fridays at 6:30 PM for our series on The Life of Abraham with Pastor Manny.

Together, we’ll explore how God calls a pagan man named Abraham and how God’s promises to Abraham ultimately point us to Jesus Christ—the true Son of promise and Savior of the world. Abraham’s journey is marked by obedience, failure, grace, and faith—much like our own. Through his life, we’ll see how God patiently shapes men who trust Him fully. Come and grow in Scripture and faith in our fellowship with Christ Jesus together.

Lite meal 6 pm; worship and teaching 6:30 pm.

GRIEFSHARE

We are hosting GriefShare weekly on Fridays, @10AM here at Gold River Calvary Chapel, 11285 Pyrites Way, Suite B, Gold River, CA 95670.

GriefShare is built around a 13-week video curriculum on a biblical, Christ-centered foundation, which meets weekly to help you face the challenges of grief and move from mourning to joy. GriefShare is a ministry to help you on your journey toward healing and recovery as you process your grief of the death of your loved ones.

These sessions will be offered as IN-PERSON only. Childcare WILL NOT be provided.
